A large handcrafted mushroom statement necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and polished hematite beads. The wide open centerpiece forms a curved forest composition designed to rest across the neckline.

Four sculptural mushrooms rise from the textured lower section on slender, individually curved stems. Their changing heights create the impression of a small imaginary mushroom colony spreading across the open frame.

The tallest mushroom stands near the center. Two larger mushrooms appear on either side, while a smaller mushroom grows between them closer to the textured base.

Each mushroom has a smooth handmade cap without raised dots. The softly irregular contours and slightly different directions preserve the organic character of the composition.

Three polished hematite beads introduce dark reflective accents among the mushrooms. Each rounded bead rests on its own fine stem and is finished with a small metal detail.

Depending on the lighting, the hematite may appear charcoal gray, metallic black, gunmetal or softly silver-gray. Its smooth reflective surface contrasts with the deep patina and hand-shaped mushroom caps.

Two slender stems end in elongated seed-like buds. Positioned near the outer sections of the design, they extend the composition beyond the mushroom group and introduce another botanical form.

A central curved shoot forms an open loop before ending in a small rounded droplet. Its flowing line adds movement to the otherwise fan-shaped arrangement.

The mushrooms, beads and botanical stems emerge from a richly textured base formed from many small handmade metal spheres. This irregular section resembles a miniature piece of forest soil or moss.

A strong curved metal bar surrounds the lower composition and extends upward on both sides. Small handmade irregularities and warm copper highlights remain visible beneath the dark finish.

The necklace chain connects to integrated rings at both ends of the curved centerpiece. This two-point attachment allows the wide decorative section to rest across the neckline rather than hanging vertically like a conventional pendant.

The deep black patina emphasizes the delicate stems, sculptural mushroom caps and dark hematite. Carefully polished areas reveal subtle graphite, bronze and warm copper reflections.

Despite its substantial width, the open construction prevents the necklace from appearing visually solid. The fine stems and spaces between the elements create an airy, rhythmic silhouette.

This is an expressive statement piece that can be worn as woodland jewelry, a witchy mushroom collar or a sculptural botanical necklace.

The version shown in the photographs has four smooth mushrooms without dots, three dark hematite beads and a black finish. Raised mushroom dots, a custom centerpiece size, another chain length or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

This necklace is designed as a wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of mushroom colonies, fine forest stems, seed pods and dark mineral forms found within the natural world. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The generic Stone material should be replaced with the more precise Hematite.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

Hematite beads may vary subtly in shade, surface reflection and proportions. These differences are natural characteristics of individual stone elements.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, textured section and outer frame is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
