Pearl Mushroom Hoop Earrings – Blackened Copper Round Forest Dangles – Botanical

A pair of handcrafted mushroom hoop earrings made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and white pearls. Each large circular composition contains three sculptural mushrooms, one luminous pearl and delicate botanical forms.

Three mushrooms rise inside each open frame at different heights. Their smooth, individually shaped caps have no raised dots, creating a small group of dark woodland silhouettes.

The tallest mushroom stands near the center, while two smaller mushrooms grow on either side. Their softly curved stems create an airy, naturally irregular forest rhythm.

A single white pearl forms the luminous focal point in each earring. It rests on a separate slender stem and is finished with a small rounded metal accent.

Depending on the lighting, the pearl may appear bright white, creamy, silvery or softly iridescent. Its smooth surface creates a gentle contrast with the deep black metalwork.

A separate curved stem ends in an elongated seed-like bud. Its narrow organic form balances the pale pearl within the circular composition.

Two additional stems finish in smooth rounded droplets. Their changing heights and directions add movement without making the open design feel crowded.

All of the stems emerge from a textured base formed from tiny individual metal spheres. This irregular handmade surface resembles a miniature patch of forest soil.

A fine circular frame surrounds the entire scene and connects to a small upper ring beneath the clasp. The open spaces keep the earrings visually airy despite their expressive diameter.

The two earrings form a coordinated, oppositely directed pair. They share the same elements and botanical rhythm, but their stems and mushrooms face different directions rather than being mechanically identical.

The deep black finish emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, fine curved lines and pale pearls. Depending on the lighting, the metal may appear matte black, dark graphite or softly metallic.

Despite their large circular shape, the open construction keeps the earrings visually delicate. They can be worn as woodland jewelry, witchy mushroom hoops or small pieces of sculptural botanical art.

The version shown in the main photographs has three smooth mushroom caps without dots, one white pearl, a black finish and lever-back clasps in each earring. Raised mushroom dots, another available pearl color, a custom earring size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of mushroom colonies, slender forest stems, seed pods and small pale forms found among woodland plants. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

Its Materials field should be corrected by replacing the nonspecific Stone entry with Pearl, and its closure field should be aligned with the product photographs.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

The pearls may vary subtly in shape, surface texture, luster and shade. These differences are natural characteristics of individual pearl elements.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, circular frame and pearl setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
