Pink Pearl Amanita Mushroom Necklace – Blackened Copper

A handcrafted amanita mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and a luminous pearl. The elongated sculptural composition features a dotted mushroom enclosed within a slender circular frame and connected to a round pearl by an exceptionally long stem.

The conical mushroom cap is decorated with individually formed raised dots. Its organic shape contrasts with the clean geometry of the surrounding circle, creating a balanced design that feels both botanical and slightly surreal.

The long, delicate stem extends below the circular frame and ends in a round pearl surrounded by a textured setting of tiny metal spheres. The pearl adds a soft, luminous focal point to the deep black metal composition.

Depending on the surrounding light and viewing angle, the pearl may appear pale pink, pearly white, cream or softly iridescent. Its natural luster creates a delicate contrast with the dark patinated surface.

The open construction keeps the pendant visually light while allowing the unusual proportions of the mushroom, circular frame and pearl to remain the focus.

The version shown in the photographs has a dotted mushroom cap, a pale pink pearl and a black finish. A smooth cap without dots, another available pearl color, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, delicate stems and pale organic forms found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.

Pearls are organic materials, so small variations in shape, surface, luster and shade are natural and make every necklace individual.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, circular frame and pearl setting is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, proportions, texture and finish are a natural part of the handmade process.
