A pair of handcrafted botanical earrings made from copper, pewter, purple agate and steel. The smooth teardrop-shaped stones are surrounded by delicate sculptural branches, small flower buds and rounded metal details.
Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small botanical composition into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of flower buds, slender branches and quiet botanical forms. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
Purple agate is a natural stone, so its color, pattern, inclusions and transparency may vary slightly depending on the light and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in stone appearance, branch curves, botanical details and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
