Red Agate Amanita Mushroom Asymmetrical Earrings – Silver Tone

A pair of handcrafted asymmetrical amanita mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter, red agate, surgical steel and steel. The two earrings are intentionally different but visually connected: one mushroom has a dotted cap, while the other has a smooth cap.
Long slender stems and faceted red agate drops give the pair movement and an expressive organic character. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of forest mushrooms and the distinctive rhythm of amanita forms. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
Red agate is a natural stone, so its color, pattern and transparency may vary slightly.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each pair individual.

About Yadovito
Every form begins with a feeling. Yadovito is an independent artist studio creating handcrafted nature jewelry and wearable art shaped by personal observations of the natural world. I do not try to reproduce nature exactly. I give form to a feeling — and invite others to find their own story in it.
