A handcrafted amanita mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, red glass and stainless steel. The sculptural composition combines a luminous red glass centerpiece with several mushrooms on long curved stems, smaller red glass accents and delicate organic metal details.
Tiny raised dots on the mushroom caps add distinctive amanita-inspired details. The translucent red glass creates a vivid focal point against the blackened metal and changes in intensity as the surrounding light moves through it.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of amanita mushrooms, delicate stems and small glowing forms growing together among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The red glass is melted in a kiln, creating subtle variations in shape, texture and color. It may appear bright red, deep crimson or slightly orange depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shapes, stem curves, glass appearance and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
