A handcrafted amanita mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and luminous red glass. The elongated openwork composition features two sculptural mushrooms, two rounded glass beads and delicate intersecting botanical lines.
The larger mushroom rises near the upper left side of the pendant. Its broad conical cap is decorated with individually formed raised dots, giving it a distinctive fly agaric–inspired appearance.
A second, much smaller mushroom grows beside it on a slender curved stem. Its smooth conical cap has no raised dots, creating a delicate contrast with the richly textured amanita cap.
Two round red glass beads introduce vivid points of color within the black metal composition. One appears lower on the left, while the second rises higher on the right.
Each glass bead rests on a separate fine stem and is finished with a small rounded metal accent. Their different positions create an intentionally irregular forest rhythm.
Depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle, the glass may appear bright scarlet, coral red, ruby, cherry red or a deeper translucent burgundy.
A separate curved branch ends in an elongated seed-like bud. Its narrow sculptural form balances the two red glass elements without making the composition feel crowded.
Several long metal lines cross and overlap through the center of the pendant. Their flowing curves create an airy botanical structure inspired by delicate plants growing closely together.
The tallest line continues upward into an integrated pendant loop. This allows the necklace to hang vertically from one central attachment point while preserving the continuous organic silhouette.
At the base, the stems gather within a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres. Two short extensions emerge beneath this section and end in smooth rounded droplets.
The deep black finish emphasizes the dotted amanita cap, smooth smaller mushroom, fine intersecting lines and glowing red glass. Depending on the light, the metal may appear matte black, deep graphite or softly metallic.
Despite its expressive length, the open construction keeps the pendant visually delicate. It can be worn as woodland jewelry, an unusual amanita talisman or a small piece of sculptural botanical art.
The version shown in the photographs has one dotted amanita cap, one smooth mushroom cap, two red glass beads and a black finish. Other available glass colors, different mushroom-dot combinations, a custom pendant size or a silver-tone finish may be requested through personalization.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of forest mushrooms, slender stems, seed pods and fragments of vivid red color found within the natural world. I do not reproduce nature literally. I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The photographs confirm two mushrooms, two red glass beads and a single upper chain attachment.
The metal is covered with black patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The glass elements may vary subtly in shape, internal texture, transparency and shade. These differences are natural characteristics of individually made components.
Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem, glass setting and lower detail is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
