A handcrafted bird pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, red glass and stainless steel. The compact sculptural design combines a small bird with a luminous raindrop-shaped glass element surrounded by tiny rounded metal details.
The smooth bird silhouette appears to rest above the deep red glass, creating a simple but expressive composition. The darkened metal gives the pendant a quiet, graphic character, while the transparent glass catches the surrounding light and changes in intensity.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with observations of small wild birds resting quietly after the rain. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these impressions to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The red glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear bright red, deep crimson or dark burgundy depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in the bird shape, glass form, dotted setting and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
