Rose Quartz Mushroom Necklace – Silver Tone

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and pale pink rose quartz. The elongated openwork composition features two sculptural mushrooms and two rounded stone elements arranged among flowing botanical lines.

The mushrooms rise at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped caps without dots. Their slender stems curve inward and cross through the center of the pendant, creating an airy, naturally asymmetrical silhouette.

Two pale pink rose quartz elements introduce soft points of color within the silver-tone metalwork. The larger stone rests higher in the composition, while the smaller stone appears on a separate curved stem below.

The translucent pink stones may appear pale blush, milky pink, lavender pink or almost clear depending on the lighting, background and natural characteristics of the mineral.

At the base of the pendant, the curved stems gather into a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres. Two delicate droplet-shaped endings extend beneath it and complete the elongated botanical form.

The open spaces between the lines keep the pendant visually light despite its dramatic length. The polished silver-tone finish emphasizes the handmade curves, smooth mushroom caps and delicate intersections.

The version shown in the photographs has two smooth mushroom caps without dots, pale pink rose quartz and a silver-tone finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available bead color, a custom pendant size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each metal component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, curling stems and pale fragments of color found among forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

Rose quartz is a natural material, so subtle differences in translucency, inclusions, surface texture, shape and shade are expected. These variations are part of the character of every finished piece.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem and decorative detail is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
