Silver Mushroom Earrings – Long Copper & Pewter Dangles – Minimalist Forest

A pair of handcrafted silver-tone mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter and steel. Their minimal elongated design reduces the mushroom form to a small sculptural cap, one flowing stem and a rounded metal droplet.

Each earring features one individually shaped mushroom with a smooth conical cap and no raised dots. The subtle irregularities of the handmade caps give the pair an organic character without adding unnecessary decoration.

A single exceptionally long and slender stem extends from beneath each mushroom cap. Its gentle curve creates a light, fluid silhouette that moves naturally when the earrings are worn.

The tip of each stem ends in a small polished metal sphere. This simple rounded detail visually balances the wider mushroom cap at the opposite end of the composition.

The two stems curve in different directions, forming a coordinated asymmetrical pair. They share the same proportions and visual language but are not designed as mechanically identical copies.

The polished silver-tone finish reflects the light along the fine stems and emphasizes the softly irregular surfaces of the handmade mushroom caps. These earrings are silver in color but are not made from sterling silver.

There is no glass, stone or ceramic in this design. Its character comes entirely from the contrast between the sculptural pewter caps, extremely fine metal lines and small rounded endings.

Despite their expressive length, the earrings are visually delicate and lightweight in appearance. They can be worn as minimalist woodland jewelry, subtle witchy earrings or small pieces of sculptural botanical art.

The version shown in the photographs has smooth mushroom caps without dots and a silver-tone finish. Raised mushroom dots, a custom earring size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.

These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with the simplest impression of a mushroom: a small cap, a slender stem and a quiet organic curve. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem and rounded ending is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, proportions, cap shapes and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
