Available on request: a smooth cap without dots, another available stone color, a custom pendant size or a black finish.

A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, stainless steel and dark blue aventurine. The elongated openwork composition features one sculptural amanita mushroom, two rounded stone elements and flowing botanical lines.

The mushroom has a broad, individually shaped conical cap decorated with small raised dots. Its long curved stem extends through the pendant and becomes part of the airy structural composition.

Two dark blue aventurine beads introduce deep points of color within the polished silver-tone metalwork. One stone rests beside the upper curved lines, while the second appears lower within the intertwined stems.

Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the stones may appear almost black, deep navy or midnight blue, with subtle sparkling reflections visible across their surfaces.

Long metal lines cross and separate throughout the pendant, creating open leaf-like forms and a natural sense of movement. Small rounded endings and delicate curves make the composition resemble an imaginary forest plant.

At the lower end, several stems gather around a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres. Two droplet-shaped details extend beneath it and complete the elongated silhouette.

The polished silver-tone finish reflects the light and emphasizes the mushroom cap, fine stems and handmade connections. The necklace is silver in color but is not made from sterling silver.

The version shown in the photographs has one dotted mushroom cap, two dark blue aventurine stones and a silver-tone finish. A smooth cap without dots, another available stone color, a custom pendant size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.

The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each metal component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, tangled stems and dark fragments of color found among forest plants. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

Subtle differences in the shade, sparkle, shape and surface of the aventurine elements are natural characteristics of individually selected stones.

Because every mushroom cap, raised dot, curved stem and decorative detail is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
