A handcrafted flower pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, agate and steel. The pendant is designed as a small wearable object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of petals, seed pods and organic botanical shapes. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
Agate is a natural material, so its color, pattern and transparency may vary slightly.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each item individual.
