A pair of handcrafted mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter and stainless steel. The sculptural design combines smooth mushroom caps with exceptionally long, slender curved stems ending in small rounded details.
Light, expressive and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a delicate forest-inspired form into everyday styling. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of small forest mushrooms, fragile stems and quiet forms found among moss, bark and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
