A pair of handcrafted bird asymmetrical earrings made from copper, pewter, glass and steel. The two forms are intentionally different but visually connected, giving the pair movement and individual character. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of wild birds, branches and fleeting movement in the forest. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in shape, texture and finish are natural and make each item individual.
