Silver Tone Mushroom Earrings – Copper & Pewter Forest Dangles – Psychedelic Botanical

A pair of handcrafted mushroom earrings made from copper, pewter and stainless steel. Each elongated openwork composition features two sculptural mushrooms rising on slender, gently curved stems.

The mushrooms are positioned at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped caps without dots. Their softly irregular silhouettes are inspired by delicate forest fungi, but do not reproduce a particular mushroom species literally.

The long stems curve inward and cross near the lower part of each earring, creating an airy botanical structure with a natural sense of movement.

Below the crossing stems, an open oval detail leads into a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres. Two small droplet-shaped endings complete the elongated composition.

The polished silver-tone finish reflects the light and emphasizes the fine stems, mushroom caps and handmade connections. Open spaces between the lines keep the earrings visually light despite their expressive length.

The two earrings form a coordinated, oppositely directed pair. Their compositions are related but not mechanically identical, preserving the organic character of the handmade design.

The version shown in the photographs has two smooth mushroom caps without dots and a silver-tone finish. Raised mushroom dots, another earring size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.

These earrings are designed as small wearable botanical objects, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, tangled stems and unusual forms found within the forest. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem and decorative detail is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
