Silver Tone Mushroom Single Earring – Extra Long Curved Stem Minimalist

A handcrafted single mushroom earring made from copper, pewter and steel. The minimalist sculptural design features a small three-dimensional mushroom cap resting above an exceptionally long, slender and gently curved stem.

A tiny rounded detail finishes the lower end of the stem, giving the earring a delicate, organic silhouette. Its unusual proportions create the impression of a solitary mushroom stretching upward toward the light.

The polished silver-tone surface highlights the smooth curve of the stem and the subtle irregularities of the hand-shaped mushroom cap. Lightweight and visually delicate, the earring moves gently when worn.

The earring is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of solitary mushrooms, slender stems and unusual forms found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

Because every mushroom cap and stem is shaped by hand rather than cast or stamped, small differences in the curve, proportions, surface texture and finish are natural and make each earring individual.
