Single Mushroom Earring – Silver Tone

A handcrafted single mushroom earring made from copper, pewter, steel and dark blue aventurine. The elongated openwork composition features two sculptural mushrooms growing among slender, flowing botanical lines.

The two mushrooms rise at different heights and have smooth, individually shaped conical caps without raised dots. Their long curved stems create an airy, naturally asymmetrical silhouette inspired by delicate forest fungi.

A round dark blue aventurine stone forms the central color accent. In softer light it may appear almost black, while brighter light reveals deep navy tones and subtle shimmering reflections.

The stone rests on a separate curved stem and is framed by small rounded metal details. Its polished surface creates a striking contrast with the fine silver-tone lines surrounding it.

Several slender stems cross and separate throughout the composition, forming two open leaf-like shapes. These flowing lines give the earring an organic sense of movement while keeping it visually light.

At the lower end, the stems gather around a textured cluster of tiny metal spheres. Two smooth droplet-shaped endings complete the elongated botanical silhouette.

The polished silver-tone finish reflects the light and emphasizes the smooth mushroom caps, fine stems and handmade connections. The earring is silver in color but is not made from sterling silver.

This listing is for one individual earring, not a pair. It can be worn alone as a sculptural statement piece or combined with another earring to create an intentionally mismatched arrangement.

The version shown in the photographs has two smooth mushroom caps without dots, dark blue aventurine and a silver-tone finish. Raised mushroom dots, another available stone color, a custom earring size or a black finish may be requested through personalization.

This earring is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each component is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.

The design begins with impressions of slender mushrooms, tangled forest stems and dark fragments of color found among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears.

I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finishing solution to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.

Aventurine may vary subtly in shade, shimmer, internal texture, shape and surface. These differences are natural characteristics of individually selected stone elements.

Because every mushroom cap, curved stem, stone setting and decorative detail is shaped and assembled by hand, small differences in the curves, spacing, proportions and finish are natural and make each earring individual.
