A pair of handcrafted jellyfish earrings made from copper, pewter, clear glass and steel. Each sculptural composition combines a luminous round glass element with three flowing metal tentacles, small rounded details and an elegant lever-back closure.
The curved lines create a sense of gentle underwater movement, while the transparent glass catches reflections from the surrounding light. Depending on the environment, it may appear clear, silvery or subtly iridescent.
These earrings are designed as small wearable ocean sculptures, somewhere between jewelry, natural memories and personal symbols. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of translucent jellyfish drifting slowly through the water. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its silver-tone appearance.
The clear glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear transparent, silvery or subtly colored depending on the lighting, background and viewing angle.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in tentacle curves, glass appearance, rounded details and finish are natural and make each pair individual.
