A handcrafted mushroom pendant necklace made from copper, pewter, watermelon quartz and stainless steel. The sculptural composition combines an oval pink quartz element with three mushrooms on long curved stems, flowing organic lines and small rounded metal details.
The softly translucent stone creates a luminous focal point within the dark botanical composition. Its delicate pink tone contrasts with the blackened metal and changes subtly with the surrounding light.
The pendant is designed as a small wearable botanical object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of delicate mushrooms, curling stems and small forms growing together among moss and fallen leaves. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
Watermelon quartz may vary slightly in shade, translucency, pattern and internal details. Depending on the lighting, the stone may appear pale pink, rose or slightly deeper in tone.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand, small differences in mushroom shapes, stem curves, stone appearance and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
