A pair of handcrafted teardrop earrings made from yellow and clear borosilicate glass with stainless steel ear wires. Each transparent drop contains a bright yellow sculptural form and small captured bubbles, creating the impression of sunlight suspended within the glass.
Light and comfortable to wear, the earrings bring a small glass sculpture into everyday styling. Each glass element is shaped individually by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of bright mornings, blooming wildflowers and sunlight moving through transparent glass. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow the molten material to evolve until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The transparent glass catches and reflects the surrounding light, while the yellow inner forms may appear lighter or deeper depending on the background and viewing angle.
Because every glass element is shaped by hand, small differences in form, yellow glass placement and bubble pattern are natural and make each pair individual.
