A handcrafted mushroom statement necklace made from copper, pewter, yellow glass, stainless steel and natural oak wood. The sculptural composition grows from a curved oak branch and combines several mushrooms on long slender stems, small organic details and a luminous round yellow glass element.
The necklace is designed as a wearable forest object, somewhere between jewelry, a natural memory and a personal symbol. Each element is shaped and finished by hand in my family workshop on the Baltic coast of Poland.
The design begins with impressions of mushroom clusters, delicate stems and fallen branches found on the forest floor. I do not reproduce nature literally; I allow these observations to guide the material until a new form appears. The result remains open to imagination and personal interpretation.
I do not usually begin with a finished sketch. The work grows intuitively during the making process — through the dialogue between hands, materials and feeling.

The metal is darkened with patina, carefully sanded and polished, then treated with an antioxidant finish to help protect the surface and preserve its deep tone.
The natural oak branch is carefully prepared and treated with hot wax to protect the wood and emphasize its individual grain and texture.
The yellow glass catches and reflects the surrounding light and may appear lighter, deeper or more amber-toned depending on the lighting and background.
Because every Yadovito piece is made by hand and includes natural wood, small differences in branch shape, wood grain, mushroom forms, stem curves and finish are natural and make each necklace individual.
